As a member of staff on the LPU HMP Brixton, it was really brilliant to see Zak connect and share his experiences with the residents on the unit. As he has said - what we as staff members may have said to them time and time again hit differently when coming from someone who has been through similar struggles to the prisoners and has come out the other side.

In today's session, I enjoyed working together as a team and the games. I’m proud of myself for coming out of my comfort zone because I showed different skills that I wouldn’t have been comfortable with doing at the beginning.

Working with Zak and Rony has been great. They understand us and make it easy for us to come to them and express ourselves. They have supported me with finding work and turning my life around.

I loved being behind the camera, capturing the public’s opinions and thoughts and then taking on another role of interacting with the public, at first I was intimidated, but it got easier as we went on and before you knew it, I had interviewed almost 30 people

You brought massive energy to the group, the icebreakers and team-building exercises were so good. Absolutely brilliant session I’m buzzing.

I didn't want to leave the session, it had me gripped, and the storyline was engaging, I liked it all!

Thumbs up, the session was really interactive, I liked it. The young people came in and didn't want to talk or get involved, but by the end, they were talking to each other, debating and really came out of their shells.
